Snoopy is a Black Vulture. He was found as a baby and is imprinted on humans. Snoopy cannot be released and he good nature around people make him a great ambassador for wildlife education.
Black Vultures are indigenous to the area and are commonly seen in the Triangle. They are nature’s clean up crew and are frequently found near highways looking for roadkill.
